LANCASTER, August 10, 2023 – On August 9th, Lancaster County Women for Good held their Summer Gather & Grant to vote on and grant the funds they raised as a group over the last three months. The event was held at Lancaster’s iconic Southern Market.

Lancaster County Women for Good is committed to supporting non-profit organizations that are diligently serving our local community. Members nominated the three non-profit finalists, Transitional Living Center, Hope Inspire Love, Inc, and Arch Street Center. Representatives from each organization gave a short presentation to the group, followed by a question-and-answer time. Members voted on which of the three finalists would receive the $7000 grant at the end of the event.

The grant recipient, Arch Street Center’s mission is to provide a safe, caring, and judgment-free space to belong for adults living with mental illness.

“Arch Street is so excited to be receiving the grant that your organization gave to help our organization. This is an honor, ” says Executive Director Ed McNanama. Hearing all the presentations, humbled me, and made me realize how great of an organization you have developed. On behalf of Arch Street, thank you so much we are honored!
